Open Emotional Assertiveness Training
Update: The dates for the first Open EA Training in English are now fixed. We start on June 12th 2026!
What is Emotional Assertiveness?
If you are struggling to…
… then, this course is for you!
Who this training is NOT for
This training is designed for people who are willing to reflect, learn, and apply emotional intelligence in their daily interactions.
It may NOT be the right fit if you are looking for:
A quick communication trick: This training is not about scripts, manipulation techniques, or “what to say to win an argument.” It focuses on developing deeper emotional awareness and authentic influence.
A purely theoretical course: This is an interactive training with reflection, exercises, and discussions. Participants are invited to actively engage and apply the concepts to real-life situations.
A leadership model based on hierarchy or authority: If you believe that leadership should rely mainly on status, power, or control, this training may not resonate with you. Emotional Assertiveness is about influence through clarity, respect, and emotional intelligence.
Avoiding difficult conversations: This training will not teach you how to avoid tension or conflict. Instead, it will help you navigate difficult conversations constructively.
Emotional suppression: This course is not about “keeping emotions out of the workplace.”
It is about learning to understand emotions and express them constructively.
If you are open to reflecting on your communication patterns, understanding emotions more deeply, and strengthening your relationships, then this training is likely to be highly valuable for you.

Why This Training?
Most communication problems are not about strategy or competence; they are about emotions:
When emotions are ignored, suppressed, or expressed destructively, cooperation breaks down.
When emotions are understood and expressed assertively, relationships deepen, and performance improves. Emotional Assertiveness helps you:
Assertiveness is not aggression. It is calm persistence, clarity, and a win-win mindset.
What other people say about Emotional Assertiveness Training with Magda

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Magda and can confidently say she is one of the most impactful trainers I’ve ever met.
Her ability to quickly understand both the person and the context they’re in is nothing short of remarkable.
Magda combines deep insight with practical tools, helping you see things from a new perspective and move forward with clarity and confidence.
What truly sets her apart, though, is her personality. She brings humour, warmth, and a sharp wit into every conversation, making even the toughest topics feel approachable.
Sessions with her are both powerful and refreshingly human. You’ll laugh, reflect, and leave each time with something valuable.
If you’re looking for a trainer who can challenge you, support you, and keep you smiling through the process, Magda is the one.

I had the pleasure to meet Magda as my trainer for Emotional Assertiveness.Magda really knows how to present the complex topic around emotions in a way that makes you curious and eager to understand emotions better – your own and those of others around you. In addition, she creates a safe space in which us trainees were able to open up about our own experiences and feelings. This made the learning experience even more valuable. We spend 3 great days together, having a lot of fun even if emotions aren’t always fun.
I definitely recommend her as a trainer to anyone who’s not afraid to reflect on their emotions and needs.

Energetic, inspiring and game changing – these are the words that come to mind when I think of Magda’s training sessions. In her unique training space, she offers more than just exercises – she creates an atmosphere of openness where everyone is invited to explore and learn. It’s a space where emotions are not only allowed but welcomed, a safe harbour where you can dare to be vulnerable.
Under Magda’s passionate guidance, I have learnt to recognise and expand my own boundaries to my authentic-self.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. In fact, the training is particularly valuable for people who need to influence others without formal authority, such as project managers, consultants, experts, members of matrix teams, or people coordinating projects.
Most courses focus on general concepts.
The Emotional Assertiveness training provides a clear model and practical tools to:
- recognise authentic emotions and cover-up emotions
- work with emotions using their specific logical algorithms
- understand the messages behind emotions
- express needs in a way that builds cooperation
It is an applied model, not just a theoretical one.
The training includes:
- explanations of the model
- practical exercises
- personal reflection
- real-life case studies
- group discussions
The goal is for participants to apply the concepts immediately in real-life situations.
The EA Profile is a personalised report of approximately 25–30 pages, based on the questionnaire completed before the course.
It provides insights into:
- emotional patterns
- your ways of managing each of the four emotions
- your most common triggers for conflict
- strengths and development areas
All sessions are recorded and made available to participants for a limited period of time. If you miss a session, you can watch the recording before the next meeting.
The course is divided into 5 sessions of approximately 4 hours each, delivered online. In addition, it is recommended to allocate some time between sessions for practical homework, reflection and integration of the concepts.
Participants frequently report that after the course they:
- manage conflicts more effectively
- communicate more clearly and calmly
- stand their ground without damaging relationships
- build trust more quickly
- reduce tensions within teams
No. Although many examples come from professional contexts, Emotional Assertiveness skills are equally valuable in:
- personal relationships
- couple relationships
- parenting
Based on your questions and requests, I will focus the example and exercises on your areas of interest.
The group size is limited to 4–12 participants in order to ensure:
- meaningful interaction
- space for questions
- discussions based on real-life situations
In today’s organisations, many projects are carried out in cross-functional teams where people must collaborate without direct hierarchical relationships. In such contexts, success depends more on the ability to influence and build cooperation than on formal authority.
